Minor League Final
The final last Wednesday evening turned out to be one of the best games of the year so far. The large crowd of supporters from Kinlough were disappointed with the result but very proud of the performance that these young players produced. This was a game that the Gaels could and probably should have won, having led by seven points with about ten minutes of normal time to go. The confusion and delay concerning the score at the end of normal time did not help either team going into extra time. It’s hard to understand why the scoreboard was not in use for this final.

Nevertheless, well done to Liam, Fergal and all the young lads. No doubt these lads will compete in many more finals in the years ahead

Championship Begins
The Intermediate Championship begins next Sunday when the Gaels take on Ballinaglera in the first game round of Group Three.

This game is in Pairc Sean at 2pm.

Good luck to Billy, Brian and all the lads.

League Game v Drumreilly
On Saturday evening the Gaels recorded a five point win over Drumreilly in the senior league.

This game was played in terrible conditions and it was difficult to play any good football.

Final score was Melvin Gaels 1-8, Drumreilly 0-6.
