Junior Game v Kiltubrid
The juniors took on Kiltubrid in the second of the double header on Sunday but were beaten by the home side on a scoreline of 3-6 to 0-9. The Gaels had the wind behind them in the first half but did not take their chances. It was the home side who took theirs much better and scored three goals in quick succession to leave the Gaels in big trouble at the break, trailing by seven points.
In the second half the Gaels coped much better and had chances to draw close but it was Kiltubrid who finished worthy winners in the end.
Well done to all the lads who played had to play two games in a row due to a number of players being unavailable for one reason or another.
