League Game at Weekend
The will be a Senior League game against Annaduff on Saturday evening in Melvin Park.

Throw in for this game is 7pm.

VHI GAA Cul Camps 2011
VHI GAA Cul Camp takes place in Kinlough from 11th -15th July. VHI GAA Cul camps cater for children from age 6 to 12 years, and all activities are graded to cater for children of all abilities. This year all participants will receive a specially designed VHI GAA cul camp kit ie. Jersey, togs & socks complete with back pack and with no increase on last years prices. (1st child – 60 euro, 2nd child – 50 euro and 3rd child 45 euro). VHI GAA cul camps remain great value. All equipment including Hurleys and Helmets will be provided by Leitrim GAA. League Game v Glencar/Manorhamilton
The Gaels made the short trip to Manorhamilton on Saturday evening and took on the County Champions in the Senior League.

This turned out to be a very entertaining game and both sides will feel that they could have won. The Gaels came away with a deserved share of the points.

The home side started well but the Gaels soon matched them and were unlucky to go in at the break a point behind, 0-5 to 0-4.

In the second half the home side went in front by five points and looked set to win the game, but the Gaels showed great character to come back and draw level.

The final score was Glencar/Manorhamilton 0-11, Melvin Gaels 0-11.

This was another great team performance by the Gaels, well done to all.

Sympathy
The Club extends deepest sympathy to the Gillespie Family on the death of Michael’s mother Teresa in Manorhamilton and also to the Foley Family, Main Street on the death of John.

Lotto
The numbers drawn in the Melvin Gaels Lotto draw held in The Village Inn on Sunday night June 12 were 7,10,17 and 24.

There was no Jackpot winner. Other winners were- €40 Austin Mc Gurrin, Gubacreeney, Kinlough, €20 each Michael Kivlehan c/o Gilbrides, Rossinver, Johnny Goodwin, Bundoran and Concepta Kelly, Diamond Bar, Tullaghan.

Next draw Sunday June 26 in Diamond Bar, Tullaghan.
