There will be a club meeting on Wednesday at 9pm.

PRESENTATION DANCE

The dance last Saturday night turned out to be a great success.

The County Chairman, Michael McGowan presented medals to the Under 21s and the Junior Team.

The Under 21s win the B Championship and the Juniors won the Division 4 League.

Michael said it was a very proud occasion for him and he was delighted to present two trophies to his home club, Melvin Gaels in 2003.

A special presentation was made to Patsy Mc Govern for his great work for the club over the years. He was presented with a Belleek China ‘Sam Maguire’ replica.  Patsy is a very worthy recipient of this presentation as he has done some great work with Melvin Gaels Bord na Nog and Scor na Nog.  He has also done a lot of work on the field and training ground, He marked out the field before games and looked after the Dressing rooms.

Thanks to Noel and Martina McGowan, Spar, Al Connolly, Butchers, Liam and Mandy Gilmartin, Wellinton Bar, Belleek China, Donegal Parian, James and Arran Phelan, Village Inn, Elvery Sports, David Gillespie and Kathleen Foley who donated prizes for the raffle on the night.
